Stuart
Stuart gets a fourth shot at S-E-M over the past two seasons, falling in the previous three to include the state quarterfinals last season and again in Week 2 this season. When the ball is in junior quarterback Kayde Ramm‘s hands, great thing shappen. Ramm has accounted for 1,878 total yards and 47 touchdowns while leading the Broncos to its second title game in school history. Owen Littau is second on the team in rushing with 848 yards and seven scores, while Benjamin Paxton leads the Broncos in receiving with 31 receptions for 788 yards and 19 touchdowns on an offense that averages just over 50 points per contest. Hunter Tubbs provides senior leadership on defense with a team-high 78 tackles and seven sacks. Ramm has recorded 67 tackles and 15 sacks this season, while Gayvnn Mustin has 63 tackles and five interceptions in the secondary for Stuart. The Bronco defense has held opponents to eight points or less five times this season.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (11-0)
State Championships: 2023
Head Coach: Shane Hrasky (Interview with KMA Radio – Shenandoah, IA)
Final NEBHSFB.com Regular Season Rank: No. 1
Miles to Cope Stadium in Kearney: 33.8 miles

S-E-M
The Mustangs are looking for back-to-back state championships in Six Man after holding off Hay Springs by one-point in the title game last season. Don’t expect S-E-M to put the ball in the air a ton while averaging just over six pass attempts per game this season. When S-E-M does throw it, junior quarterback Chance Daake (6’4/160) has been efficient while throwing for 643 yards and seven touchdowns. Maddox Jones leads the Mustangs with 1,272 rushing yards while sophomore Jordan Scoville provides additional playmaking ability with his 823 rushing yards and 17 scores. Cohen Rohde (6’4/225) leads the Mustangs in receiving with 244 yards and five touchdowns on just nine grabs this season. On defense, Jones leads the unit with 99 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and three interceptions this season. Junior defensive back Isaac O’Neill chipped in with 74 tackles and eight tackles for loss, while Rohde recorded 47 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, three sacks, and two interceptions. Daake is tied for the team lead in interceptions with three.

Pick: Sumner-Eddyville-Miller
– This is one of the best matchups of the seven state finals. S-E-M’s Week 2 win opened NEBHSFB.com’s eyes to how good Stuart was going to be as the Broncos became one of the most streamed teams this season. S-E-M has also received a lot of eyes at the home office and looks like it’s best performance still may be coming. This is going to be a fantastic display of Six Man football in the Cornhusker State. – Scott Hansen
