Player of the Week
Conor Booth | Wahoo Neumann | RB – The Nebraska pledge is capping off his prep career in style. Booth rumbled for 303 rushing yards and six touchdowns on just 13 carries in a 73-7 victory over Hastings St. Cecilia. For the season, Booth has rushed for 973 yards and 16 touchdowns after four weeks and has gone over 250 yards in three straight games. Over the last 14 games, Booth has 3,132 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns while going over 4,000 yards for his career.

Team of the Week
Seward Bluejays – Seward outlasted Scottsbluff on the road 28-27 in Week 4 to remain unbeaten. Edison Knott rushed for two touchdowns and blocked a crucial point after attempt with 9:20 left in the fourth quarter, which ended up being the difference for the Bluejays. Knott’s second touchdown run tied it with 2:07 left, and a bobbled point after snap was booted through the uprights by Ayden Siebert to provide the one-point margin. Junior Tresten Hass rushed for a touchdown and threw for another in the victory. Knott and Hass combined for 254 rushing yards.. Seward is rated No. 4 this week in Class B and will host winless Lincoln Northwest in Week 5. Wide receiver Jack Vyhnalek, junior Peyton Else and tight end Hayden Burhoop are crucial in the passing game for the Bluejays, while linebacker Caden Schadwinkel anchors the defense.

Class A

Nate Collins | Omaha Burke | QB – In a 73-46 victory over Omaha Bryan, Collins threw for 347 yards and five touchdowns while adding 77 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Carnell Dangerfield rushed for 207 yards and three scores to pace the Bulldogs on offense, while Leyton Bush caught two touchdowns for the Bulldogs.

Lathan Huntsman | North Platte | RB – Huntsman ran for three touchdowns in a 47-21 win over Lincoln Northeast.

Derek Jones | Papillion-La Vista South | RB – Jones rushed for 223 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-21 win over Omaha Westview.

Cameron Leggett | Papillion-La Vista | QB – Leggett tied a Class A state record with seven touchdown passes in a 56-0 over Bellevue East. Leggett completed 12 of 21 passes for 330 yards in the victory. Owen Bogacz, Jonathan Hardin, and tight end Kale Johnson call had two touchdown grabs for the Monarchs.

Alarion Russell | Omaha Bryan | WR – Russell caught three touchdown passes in a 73-46 loss to Omaha Burke.

Gavin Shanahan |Elkhorn South| RB – Shanahan rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries in a 49-14 win over Grand Island.

Jett Thomalla | Millard South | QB – In a 63-21 rivalry victory over Millard North, the junior completed 24 of 35 passes for 312 yards and four touchdowns. Elite level junior tight end Isaac Jensen caught two touchdown passes for the Patriots.

Class B

Joseph Andreasen | Lincoln Pius X | RB – Andreasen rushed for four touchdowns in a 42-7 victory over Platteview.

Ethan Beachy | Elkhorn North | QB – The junior threw for 295 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-7 Thursday Night Lights win over Gretna. FBS prospect Jace Reynolds had 114 receiving yards and hauled in two scores for the Wolves.

Chase Grow | Gretna East | QB – Grow completed 13 of 19 passes for 264 yards and four touchdowns in a 61–0 victory over Lincoln Standing Bear. Seth Kraegel caught seven passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns for the Griffins.

Houston Hill | Bennington | QB – In a 44-7 win at Grand Island Northwest, Hill completed 23 of 28 passes for 239 yards and three touchdowns. Elliott Anderson caught two touchdowns for the Badgers, who extended their winning streak to 43 games.

Nate Kelley | Scottsbluff | QB – The junior rushed for three touchdowns in a narrow 28-27 loss to Seward.

Tucker Synek | Hastings | QB – Synek accounted for six touchdowns (3 passing, 3 rushing) in a 49-3 win over LIncoln Northwest.

Dylan Van Dyke | Omaha Skutt | QB – For the third time this season, Van Dyke tied a school record with four touchdown passes in a 48-17 win over Ralston.

Levi Walker | Plattsmouth | RB – Walker, only a sophomore, rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-7 victory over Lexington. Junior quarterback Brayden VanWinkle tacked on three rushing touchdowns for the Blue Devils.

Class C-1

Quinn Bailey | Chadron | RB – Bailey rushed for 324 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-6 win over Gothenburg. For the season, Bailey has 1,119 rushing yards (an average of 279.8 yards per game) and 11 rushing touchdowns.

Alek Doty and Landon Riddle | Sidney- Doty completed 8 of 11 passes for 264 yards and five touchdowns and added another 56 rushing yards in a 42-0 win over Mitchell. Riddle caught five passes for 214 yards in the victory for the Red Raiders.

Adam Elofson | Fort Calhoun | QB – The junior threw for three touchdown passes in a 47-14 win over Pierce. Elofson also rushed for a touchdown while Kaiden Rodnguez tacked on three rushing scores for the Pioneers.

Cole Hynek | Omaha Concordia | DB – Hynek intercepted two passes and added a rushing touchdown in a 39-20 victory over Falls City.

Jackson Sughroue | Adams Central |QB – Sughroue accounted for five touchdowns (4 passing, 1 rushing) in a 41-21 win over Holdrege. Kaleb Wahlmeier and Briley Hughes both caught two touchdown passes for the Patriots.

Derek Tonjes and Thomas Spears | Ashland-Greenwood – In a 41-14 win over Auburn, Tonjes threw for 295 yards and five touchdowns while Spears caught eight passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns.

Carson Wessel | Columbus Scotus | QB – Wessel threw for 234 yards and three touchdowns while adding a rushing score in a 42-28 win over Aurora.

Darien Whitaker Jr.| Boys Town | RB/LB – The FBS prospect rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-6 Lincoln Lutheran.

Brogan Benes | Boone Central | RB – Benes rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown on two receptions in a 37-14 victory over Wood River.

Jacob Bosshamer and Pete Homan | Kearney Catholic – In a 42-19 victory over Minden, Bosshamer threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns while Homan added 163 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries.

Trace Buechler | Valentine | QB – Buechler accounted for four touchdowns (2 passing, 2 rushing) in a 40-0 win over Centura.

Aden Pochop | Battle Creek | RB – Pochup accounted for three touchdowns (2 rushing, 1 receiving) and finished with 162 total yards in a 48-20 win over Fremont Bergan.

Class D-1

Charlie Adams | Boyd County | QB – Adams accounted for four touchdowns (3 passing, 1 rushing) in a 42-20 win over Wausa/Osmond.

William Cacy and Clayton North | Arapahoe – In a 67-6 win over Southern Valley, Cacy and North both rushed for three touchdowns. Arapahoe rushed for 411 yards on 31 carries as a team in the rout.

Rocco Hageman | East Butler | RB – Hageman rushed for 216 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-14 victory over McCool Junction.

Cole Heimes | Hartington/Newcastle | QB – In a 70-6 triumph over Niobrara/Verdigre, Heimes completed 8 of 10 passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns while adding 138 rushing yards and three scores. Cole Rosener caught four passes for 131 yards and three touchdowns for the Wildcats.

Blake Loseke and Tucker Matthews | Clarkson-Leigh – In a 60-34 win over Twin River, Loseke rushed for 209 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Matthews added 181 rushing yards and three touchdowns for the Patriots.

Ryelan Kingston | Pleasanton | RB – Kingston rushed for 161 yards and four touchdowns i a 50-22 victory over Ravenna.

Michael Koenig | Summerland | QB – Koenig accounted for five touchdowns (3 rushing, 2 passing) in a 44-34 loss to Stanton.

Becker Pohlman and Barrett Wilke | Stanton – In a 44-34 win over Summerland, Pohlman and Wilke combined for 375 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Pohman rushed for four touchdowns, while Wilke finished with 207 rushing yards and a pair of scores for the top-ranked and defending state champion Mustangs.

Dylan Pandorf | South Loup | QB – Randorf completed 11 of 14 passes for 273 yards and accounted for four touchdowns (3 passing, 1 rushing) in a 65-42 win over Sandhills Valley.

Wyatt Pollet | Sutton | QB – The sophomore completed 22 and 31 passes for 340 yards and five touchdowns in a 42-36 loss to Thayer Center.

Ethan Shaw | Sandy Creek | QB – Shaw completed 12 of 18 passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 119 rushing yards and a touchdown in a 59-6 win over Tri County. Freshman Kamerin Sealey caught five passes for 122 yards and three touchdowns to pace the Cougars on offense.

Sam Souerdyke | Thayer Central | RB – In a 42-36 victory over Sutton, Souerdyke rushed for 229 yards and four touchdowns while adding 73 receiving yards and another score.

Elijah Bergstrom | Axtell | ATH – Bergstrom accounted for 247 yards and five touchdowns (2 passing, 2 receiving, 1 rushing) in a 58-44 loss to Wilcox-Hildreth.

Devin Brummer | Wynot | QB – Brummer completed 11 of 15 passes for 284 yards and five touchdowns in a 5012 win over Randolph. Braylen Hans caught three touchdown passes in the victory.

Calvin Carraher | Franklin | RB – Carraher rushed for 216 yards and five touchdowns in a 70-34 loss to Kenesaw.

Adam Denkert and Maddox Wagoner | Kenesaw – Denkert rushed for 241 yards and three touchdowns, while Wagoner added 224 yards and four touchdowns in a 70-34 win over Franklin. Kenesaw rushed for 516 yards in the victory.

Fletcher Dubas | Fullerton | QB – Dubas rushed for 286 yards and four touchdowns while throwing for 84 yards and two more touchdowns in a 40-38 win over Osceola.

Garrett Hasenhauer | Twin Loup | RB – Hasenhauer rushed for 142 yards and four touchdowns in a 57-26 win over Chambers/Wheeler Central.

Gage Hedstrom | O’Neill St. Mary’s | QB – Hedstrom accounted for 347 yards and six touchdowns (4 rushing, 2 passing) in a 68-52 loss to Creighton.

Hunter Luther | Howells-Dodge | RB – Luther rushed for 316 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-30 win over Nebraska Christian.

Hayden Muirhead | Overton | QB – Muirhead accounted for 261 yards and rushed for four touchdowns in a 40-20 win over Hitchcock County.

Taylor Nilson | Creighton | QB – Nilson completed 16 of 23 passes for 243 yards and four touchdowns while adding 170 rushing yards and five touchdowns in a 68-52 win over O’Neill St. Mary’s.

Quin Oberg | Elm Creek | RB – Oberg rushed for 246 yards and five touchdowns in a 60-20 win over Blue Hill.

Dagan Ortgiesen | Wilcox-Hildreth | QB – In a 58-44 victory over Axtell, Ortgiesen completed 16 of 23 passes for 350 yards and four touchdowns. Graiden RItter caught seven passes for 233 yards and three scores for the Falcons.

Luke Shoemaker | Central Valley | RB – The sophomore rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns in a 68-20 victory over Anselmo-Merna.

Jett Farwell | Pawnee City | RB – Farwell rushed for 282 yards and seven touchdowns on a 14 caries in a 59-6 win over Hampton.

Landon Gasseling | Potter-Dix | WR – Gasseling caught seven passes for 188 yards and three touchdowns in a 64-58 win over Sioux County.
