Coryion Perry | Omaha Bryan – In his first game back in Nebraska, the 5’11, 180-pound senior completed 18-of-26 passes for 353 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-7 win over Omaha South. Perry also reeled in a 62-yard touchdown pass in the win for the Bears. Perry spent his sophomore season at Omaha Central before playing at Carrollton Newman Smith in the Dallas-Fort Worth area last season.

Rowdy Bauer | Norfolk – In a 28-14 victory over Columbus, Bauer rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on nine carries while catching six passes for 50 yards.

Marcus Buchanan | Omaha Burke – Buchanan was one of the main bright spots in a 40-14 loss to Gretna with six catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns coming from junior quarterback Nate Collins.

Mason Chandler | Bellevue East – Chandler completed 12-of-20 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 82 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 48-12 victory over Lincoln Northeast.

Champ Davis | Omaha North – The elite level sophomore caught three touchdown passes from junior quarterback Sebastian Circo in a 25-7 victory over Bellevue West to open its season.

Nolan Feller | Millard South – Feller rushed for 130 crucial yards and two touchdowns in a 28-27 victory over rival Millard West, also catching four passes for 88 yards and a score in the victory.

Jeremiah Gorham | Omaha South – In a 47-7 victory over Omaha South, Gorham caught seven passes for 229 yards and a touchdown. Gorham also threw a 62-yard touchdown pass in the victory and intercepted a pass.

Derek Jones | Papillion-La Vista South – The sophomore continued his fast start to the season, rushing for 164 yards and three touchdowns on just 12 carries in a 43-7 win over Fremont.

Bobby Joseph | Millard West – The versatile Joseph visited the end zone three times in a 28-27 loss to Millard South. Joseph rushed for 113 yards in a losing effort and caught four passes for 20 yards.

Tony Palmer | South Sioux City – Palmer exploded for 244 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries as South Sioux City opened its season with a 46-37 win over Sioux City North.

Tory Pittman III | Omaha Central – Pittman III started out his varsity career in eye-opening fashion, intercepting two passes and returning them both for touchdowns in a 65-0 win over Omaha Northwest.

Payton Prestito | Papillion-La Vista – Prestito rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries on Thursday as preseason No. 10 Papillion-La Vista defeated No. 8 Millard North on the road, 28-10.

Jahmez Ross | Omaha Westside – Ross rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries at defending state champion Omaha Westside downed rival Creighton Prep, 57-7.

Alarion Russell | Omaha Bryan – Russell caught five passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-7 win over Omaha South to open the season for the Bears.

Sawyer Schilke | Kearney | LB – In a 41-27 victory over Lincoln East, Schilke opened his junior campaign with six tackles and three sacks.

Jeter Worthley | Lincoln East – The junior Michigan baseball commit picked up where he left off from an impressive sophomore season, throwing for 311 yards on 20-of-32 passing with three passing touchdowns in a 41-28 loss to Kearney. Worthley also tacked on a rushing touchdown in a losing effort.
