Week 9 Top Performers
Braylon Anderson | Oakland-Craig | QB – Anderson threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns in a 36-0 win over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.
Josh Basilevac | Elkhorn North | QB – Basilevac threw for 159 yards and four touchdowns while adding another 166 rushing yards in a 27-26 victory over Blair.
Elliot Beister | Elkhorn | RB – The sophomore rushed for touchdowns of 40, 60, and 70 yards in a 59-19 win over Omaha Westview.
Trey Bird | Bennington | QB – Bird threw for 221 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-14 victory over Mount Michael. Bird finished the regular season with 1,649 passing yards and 25 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions as the Badgers have won 22 straight games.
Matt Bohy | Lincoln Pius X | RB – Bohy rushed for 199 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-17 victory over Norris.
Grayson Bouwman | Fort Calhoun | WR – The junior caught nine passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns in a 32-25 win over Boys Town. Bowman set the school record for receiving yards in a season in 2022 with 801 to go along with 10 touchdowns.
Connor Booth | Wahoo Neumann | RB – Booth rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-12 win over David City Aquinas.
Sebastien Boyle | Scottbluff | RB – Boyle rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries in a 55-14 victory over Lexington. Boyle surpassed 1,400 rushing yards this season for the 8-1 Bearcats and has rushed for 21 touchdowns.
Ben Brahmer | Pierce | RB – Brahmer caught eight passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns in a 54-20 win over West Point-Beemer. The Nebraska commit finished the regular season with 54 catches for 1,017 yards and 14 touchdowns, finishing with more than 100 receiving yards in eight out of nine games.
Colbey Butts | Fremont Bergan | WR – Butts rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown in a 41-36 win over North Bend Central.
Nick Colvert | Bennington | RB – Colvert rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns in a 52-14 victory over Mount Michael. Colvert capped off his regular season with 1,044 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, while adding another five touchdown receptions.
Sam Dierks | Adams Central | QB – Dierks threw for 204 yards and four touchdowns in a 60-20 victory over Fairbury.
Trevor Ehrlich | Wahoo | RB – Ehrlich rushed for 142 yards and four touchdowns in a 68-0 victory over Schuyler.
Hayden Frank | Malcolm | QB – Frank threw for 293 yards and rushed for 188 yards, accounting for five touchdowns, in a 62-28 win over Wilber-Clatonia to cap off a perfect regular season for the Clippers.
Jackson Hinrichs | Holdrege | QB – Hinrichs threw for 131 yards and a touchdown while adding 125 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-14 victory over Ogallala.
Luke Holly | Sidney | RB – Holly capped off his season rushing for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-14 win over Alliance.
Rylan Holstein | Minden | RB – Holstein rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-18 victory over Cozad.
Kalen Knott | Seward | QB – Knott rushed for more than 250 yards and five touchdowns and added more than 170 passing yards and another score in a 41-20 victory over Beatrice.
Alex Korte | Grand Island Northwest | WR – Korte caught 11 passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-21 loss to York. Korte finished the regular season with 53 catches for 625 yards and seven touchdowns.
Zach Krajicek | Yutan | RB – Krajicek rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns in a 43-0 win over Tekamah-Herman.
Carson Kudlacek | Hastings St. Cecilia | QB – Kudlacek threw for 178 yards and a two touchdowns, also rushing for 122 yards and four touchdowns in a 40-0 victory over Doniphan-Trumbull.
Ashton Lurz | Valetine | QB – Lurz rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns in a 20-0 win over Chase County.
Trent McCain | Ord | RB – McCain rushed for 237 yards and four touchdowns in a 43-16 win over Centura. McCain finished the regular season with 1,465 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns.
Logan McGreer | Malcolm | WR – McGreer posted 179 receiving yards in a 62-28 win over Wilber-Clatonia, which was a school record.
Kade McIntyre | Fremont Bergan | ATH – The Oklahoma pledge ushed for four touchdowns in a 41-36 win over North Bend Central.
L.J. McNeil | Oakland-Craig | RB – McNeil rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns in a 36-0 win over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.
Quentin Morris | Centura | RB – McCain rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns in a 43-16 loss to Ord.
