Player of the Week

Anthony Rezac | Omaha Westside | QB – After dropping its first game of the season to North Platte in Week 6, Westside responded with a huge performance from the junior in a 42-14 win over Kearney. Just over a half was played at Westside before a reported fire forced the game to be moved and finished at Papillion-LaVista South. Rezac completed 11 of 17 passes for 188 yards and two scores while adding 143 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Rezac has accounted for 17 touchdowns this season.

Cole Ballard | Elkhorn South | RB – Ballard continued putting up huge numbers, with 124 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 42-3 win over Grand Island. Ballard has 20 rushing touchdowns for the unbeaten Storm this season.

Rowdy Bauer | Norfolk | RB – Bauer rushed for two touchdowns in a 22-17 victory over Lincoln North Star.

Dash Bauman | Lincoln East | RB/LB – Bauman rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-7 victory over Lincoln High.

Max Buettenback | Lincoln Southeast | RB – Buettenback rushed for 174 yards and accounted for a pair of touchdowns in a 17-16 loss to Millard West.

Sebastian Circo | Omaha North | QB – Circo completed 12 of 15 passes for 183 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-0 win over Fremont as the sophomore has elevated his game at the right time for Omaha North.

Nolan Feller | Millard South | RB – Feller rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Columbus.

Zane Flores | Gretna | QB – The Oklahoma State commit accounted for 260 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-27 win over Papillion-LaVista South. Flores has accounted for 27 touchdowns this season and surpassed 7,500 career passing yards in the victory. The Nebraska 11-Man state record for passing yards in a career is 8,451, which was set by Alec Ditoro of Papillion-LaVista between 2010 and 2013.

Daniel Kaelin | Bellevue West | QB – The elite level junior threw for four touchdown passes in a 49-0 victory over rival Bellevue East. Kaelin leads Class A with 26 touchdown passes this season for the Thunderbirds.

Camden Kozeal | Millard South | QB – Kozeal, a Vanderbilt baseball commit, accounted for 259 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Columbus.

Jaylen Lloyd | Omaha Westside | WR – Lloyd caught four passes for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 42-14 victory over Kearney. Lloyd has 508 receiving yards and four touchdowns this season.

Cal Newell | Lincoln Southwest | RB – Newell continues to impress this season, rushing for 125 yards and two touchdowns in a 55-7 victory over South Sioux City.

Kevon Newsome | Omaha Benson | LB – Newsome returned an interception for a touchdown in a 17-14 loss to Omaha Burke. Newsome has three interceptions this season.

Isaac Pamaran | Papillion-LaVista | WR – The sophomore caught three passes for 112 yards and a 78-yard touchdown grab in a 39-14 win over Omaha Central.

Te’Shaun Porter | Omaha North | RB – Porter rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-0 victory over Fremont.

Payton Prestito | Papillion-LaVista | RB – Prestito rushed for 192 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 39-14 victory over Omaha Central.

Carson Rauner | Elkhorn South | QB – The junior rushed for 168 yards and threw for 136 yards, accounting for two touchdowns, in a 42-3 victory over Grand Island.

Jahmez Ross | Omaha Westside | RB – Ross rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown in a 42-14 win over Kearney.

Royceon Skogerboe | Papillion-LaVista South | RB – Skogerboe caught nine passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-27 loss to top-ranked Gretna.

Peyton Strong | Millard West | RB – Strong rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown in a 17-16 victory over Lincoln Southeast.

Aric Thomas | Omaha South | WR – In a 57-22 win over Omaha Northwest, Thomas had 204 receiving yards and four touchdowns. It was the third time this season Thomas caught four touchdowns in a game.

Caden VerMaas | Millard North | ATH – Coming off a week where he received an offer from Nebraska, VerMaas followed it up with 187 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 50-17 victory over Omaha Bryan.
